In view of the big carnival parade that will take place on Archbishop Makarios III Avenue in Limassol, next Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 13:00 with the participation of floats and pedestrian sections, the following traffic arrangements will be made:
- From the "Enaerios" traffic lights to the roundabout of Agios Nikolaos, the road will remain closed from 08:00 due to the concentration of floats.
- From the roundabout of Agios Nikolaos to the intersection of Makarios III Avenue with Apostolou Varnava Street, the road will remain closed from 11:00 to 24:00 for the parade.
Therefore, drivers are asked to comply with the instructions of the police and municipal traffic wardens on duty and to use all parking spaces of the Limassol Municipality and private parking spaces.
The celebrations of the Carnival will end with a large outdoor carnival dance in the Old Port Square at 21:00.
