In the context of upgrading its services and facilitating citizens, the Police proceeded to install POS terminals for bank card payments, in a total of 24 points nationwide.
Specifically, at the Police Headquarters, POS terminals have been installed in the following services, Headquarters Traffic Police, Record of Previous Convictions (CRO), YPEGE, Firearms, Accounting.
In addition, in the districts of Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Famagusta, as well as in the Morphou district, POS terminals have been installed in all District Police Directorates (ADE), in accounting departments, firearms offices, etc.
At the same time, POS have also been installed at the Police Stations of Polis Chrysochous and Kato Pyrgos.
It is noted that payments via POS will be made during the opening hours of the cashiers.
The Police continues the actions to modernize its services, with the aim of better serving the public.
