The number of deaths from influenza in Cyprus has risen to 24 with the Ministry of Health and OKYPY being on alert.
These are patients who were hospitalized and had, according to laboratory data, influenza.
According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dimitris Konstantinou, the latest losses concern the elderly with a burdened medical history.
However, the situation in the hospitals is currently in a manageable condition.
