Pafos Live 14 January 2026
The Department of Forests of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment wishes to remind the public that in the context of the "Tree Week 2025" celebrations have been planned and will take place in the districts of Larnaca/Famagusta as well as in Paphos as follows:
- Larnaca and Famagusta District: Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 10:00 in the morning at Sotiras III Primary School (Unified All-Day School), (Acropolis 5390 Sotira) and
- Paphos District: Thursday, January 15, 2026, 09:00 in the morning at Agios Neophytos High School, (15 Andrea Vlami Street, 8025 Paphos).
During the days when the events will take place, the Department of Forests will provide the public with free saplings at the following locations:
Larnaca and Famagusta District:
- Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 10:00 in the morning at Sotiras III Primary School where the event will take place,
- Finikoudes Beach,
- Tapa Hana Park (on Piale Pasha Avenue),
- Cape Greco Environmental Information Center.
Paphos District:
- Thursday, January 15, 2026 09:10 in the morning at the Lyceum of Agios Neophytos where the event will take place,
- In the parking lot of the Paphos Town Hall (behind the Paphos Police Headquarters) and
- In the central square of Polis Chrysochou
