As they state, they look forward to the support of the Cyprus Presidency in promoting a strong, competitive and resilient Single Market, based on high-quality European standards.
The Presidency's program, they add, highlights key strategic priority areas that are identified with the European Standardization System: simplification and reduction of administrative burdens, defence, climate, trade, security.
"The Cyprus Presidency comes at a decisive moment for the development of the European Standardisation System, as it evolves in the context of the green and digital transition. They express the hope that the Cyprus Presidency will take into account this tool of European Standardization, in its effort to strengthen innovation and Europe's leading position in industry.
Finally, CEN, CENELEC and CYS are committed to contributing with the know-how and strength offered by their cooperation throughout the Presidency, working together with the EU institutions, national delegations, industry, social partners and the wider standardisation community.
