A Diving Ceremony of the Holy Cross will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou.
The Municipality of Ierokipia and the Ecclesiastical Committee of the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi invite the public to the Ceremony of Immersion of the Holy Cross and the Consecration of the Waters, on the occasion of the celebration of the Holy Epiphany, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10.30 a.m., at the Municipal Beach of Geroskipou (Boat Ramp).
A treat will follow at the Amusement Park of Geroskipou Beach.
For the convenience of the faithful, the transfer to the place of the ceremony (return) will be done by a bus that will be reserved by the Municipality of Ierokipia immediately after the end of the Divine Liturgy of the Epiphany (departure from Geroskipou Square).
Also, in the Municipal District of Timi, after the Great Blessing in the Holy Church of Agia Irini, there will be a Ceremony of Immersion of the Holy Cross in the Municipal Park, as well as a treat for the faithful.
