2026 is expected to be a year of critical projects and challenges for Paphos, with significant interventions in road networks, the airport and the tourist infrastructure, if the ministries' plans for the province are implemented.

At the beginning of the new year, the tender for the completion of the Paphos-Coral Bay coastal road, the section from Chloraka to Pegeia, is expected to be announced. Construction projects are expected in 2027.
At the beginning of the new year, the announcement for the Paphos - Polis Chrysochous road, the section from Polis to Stroumbi, is expected to be made, while the procedure for the first unfinished Paphos-Stroumbi section has also been unblocked.
At the same time, the project of expanding Paphos airport is progressing, while the issue of the Marina is still a puzzle.
