Indications of a possible data breach in the systems of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre were detected on Monday, December 1, 2025.
In a post on Social Media, the Oncology Department states that the Digital Security Authority (DSA) was immediately informed. At the same time, cooperation with a specialized cybersecurity company for technical investigation and support was activated. The Commissioner for Personal Data Protection was also informed.
The investigation, he notes, is underway to accurately determine the nature and extent of the incident. The Center applies all the necessary protection measures and its operation continues normally.
Finally, he assures that no patient has been affected in any way.
