The smart signs that have been placed in sites of archaeological and tourist interest throughout the province to help visitors get to know the archaeological and other treasures of Paphos, are recording impressive success. The statistics that are now collected from the QR CODES of these signs, prove in practice their use beyond all expectations and the popularity of these information materials.
According to the available data, by the summer of this year, more than 62,000 scans had been carried out from 89 smart signs throughout the province. A result that is characterized as excellent according to the authorities, who pointed out that in 2024 more than 350,000 scans were recorded.
The effort continues and the 6th phase for the creation of 18 new signs is underway.
