The road "Comforter - Skotini Fire Strip", in the Machairas National Forest Park, which was closed for the period 1/4 – 30/11/2025 for the purpose of protecting forests from fires, will remain closed for the movement of private vehicles until the renewal of the decree for 2026.
An announcement by the Department of Forests states that the closure of the above road is due to the fact that the road presents an extremely dangerous slope in specific places but also due to the works that will be carried out.
