Works are underway to improve the main street Aristotelis Savva in the Anavargos district. The contract includes works on the road surface and sidewalks, it is necessary to occupy both lanes of Leoforos (from the junction with Telemachou Christodoulou (Post Office), to the junction with Roupel Street (Iordaneio Elementary School turn) for the execution of the required works. The works are expected to be completed next week.
At the same time as these projects, the replacement of the existing asbestos pipeline with plastic pipes in the area has been completed, offering a safer, durable and reliable water supply network. It is essentially a central water supply pipeline in the area.
To avoid any inconvenience to the public, a Traffic Management Plan has been developed to minimize the impact on the road network. Depending on the progress of the works, the corresponding traffic arrangements will be made.
Drivers are requested to use the side roads to avoid traffic jams and inconvenience.
The Municipality of Paphos assures the public that it makes every effort to cause the least possible inconvenience from the execution of this important project and asks for their cooperation and understanding.
