TALA MONASTERY WALK
Back in 2024 there was an article about the creation of an Ecclesiastical park by the Church and Monastery of Agios Neophytos.
This walk was mentioned, but may have been forgotten.
To access the walk, park alongside the Cafe at the Monastery and walk away from the cafe heading up the hillside. You should see the sign shown. There are a lot of steps so not advisable in hot weather, unless done early morning and in the evening, or for those who are not able-bodied. There are resting places, and most of the steps are staggered.
Ensure you have a hat and water with you, together with your camera for the views.
The walk takes you up to the Church of the Prophet Ilias.
This is only a small part of a longer walk.
