The new regulations were published at the end of July, and since then many developments have been trying to make sense of what needs to happen next. With the compliance and registration deadline now approaching on 25 January, I’m hearing from a growing number of committees who are unsure about the process and are receiving conflicting or incomplete advice. The same questions keep coming up:   ·        How do we actually register our pool under the new rules? ·        Who should be the Responsible Person, and what risks come with the role? ·        What needs to be checked on our pool to confirm we meet the new requirements? ·        What happens if we delay, or if we’re not ready in time? ·        What is the realistic timeline for getting everything done before January?
