HEAT AND DUST ON THE MENU TODAY - ISOLATED RAIN POSSIBLE ON MONDAY

The extremely high temperatures for the month of November continue today and over the weekend. The weather will be mostly clear throughout the three days, while rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected locally from Monday.

The forecast of the Meteorological Service in detail:

High pressure affects the area, while thin dust will be observed in the atmosphere from time to time.

Today the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be increased high clouds temporarily. Winds will be mainly northeast to southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 and temporarily up to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will generally be a little rough and locally to rough. The temperature will rise to around 28 degrees inland and on the coasts and around 21 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly north to northeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough on the north and east coasts, while on the rest of the coast it will gradually become calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 14 degrees inland and in the higher mountains and around 17 degrees on the coasts.

On Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear, while at times there will be increased high clouds. On Monday, increased clouds are expected to give locally rains and isolated thunderstorms.

The temperature is expected to rise slightly on Saturday and not change significantly on Sunday, to fluctuate significantly above the average climatic values, while on Monday a drop in temperature is expected, to remain above the average climatic values.
