The 58-year-old Greek Cypriot who is being held on suspicion of murdering the young man finally confessed to the crime against 26-year-old Alexandros Antoniou.
The Paphos district court renewed his detention order for another eight days in the morning. The 14-year-old was initially transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital, where the doctors on duty found that he had suffered a craniocerebral injury. Due to the seriousness of his health condition, he is expected to be admitted to the Nicosia General Hospital.
