A pan-Cypriot survey concerning all citizens/beneficiaries of the GHS without exception and their experience so far with their personal doctor begins today with the Cyprus Federation of Patients' Associations as the implementing body.
According to an announcement by OSAK, the survey aims to collect opinions, experiences and suggestions from citizens, in order to identify both the points that work effectively and those that need improvement.
The aim is to upgrade the quality of the health services provided and to strengthen the patient-doctor relationship.
The initiative focuses on five main axes:
- The experiences of the beneficiaries from the use of the services of the Personal Doctor,
- The degree and manner of communication with the doctor,
- The experiences of people with chronic diseases,
- Informing citizens about the capabilities and services of the GHS, as well as
- The points that need improvement.
OSAK emphasizes that participation in the survey is anonymous and only a few minutes are required to complete it.
"Gathering as many questionnaires as possible will allow for a more accurate picture of how the system works, offering a powerful advocacy tool for the benefit of patients."

The research has been approved by the Cyprus National Bioethics Commission (EEBK OP 2025.01.251).
