A series of works that will be carried out on the Paphos - Limassol highway in the coming days, was announced on Thursday by the Department of Public Works, through the Paphos and Limassol District Engineers.
As the competent Department informs the public, on Friday, October 10, 2025, between 08:30 and 17:00, inspections will be carried out on two bridges near the tunnel of the Limassol to Paphos direction.
During these works, the slow lane will be closed for approximately 2 km and traffic will be diverted to the express lane.
In addition, from Monday, October 13, to Friday, October 17, 2025, from 08:00 to 15:00, cleaning works will be carried out on the supports and the central island along the entire length of the highway in both directions.
The works will be carried out with a mobile construction site, with partial closure of the adjacent lane, depending on the execution of the works.
The Department of Public Works apologizes, as it states, for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding, patience and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
