"Women remain underrepresented in leadership positions, experience pay inequalities, encounter barriers to advancement and often operate in a work environment that is unfortunately not free from stereotypes and prejudices," underlined Commissioner Josie Christodoulou, during the signing ceremony.

The memorandum is set to be valid for two years, while there is the possibility of renewing it.

Expected Benefits: Promoting gender-equal and representative imagery in media and advertising, reducing stereotypical and biased portrayals.

  • Female Entrepreneurship Mentoring Scheme: "Becoming an Entrepreneur for a Day".

Establishment of a mentoring program for women's entrepreneurial initiatives, with the aim of empowering women who are interested in creating or developing their own business. The program will include the action "Becoming an Entrepreneur for a Day", in which participants will have the opportunity to experience the management and administration of a business up close.

Expected Benefits: Enhancing women's entrepreneurial activity and increasing the percentage of women in entrepreneurship through mentoring and hands-on coaching.
