The project 'Revitalization of the Urban Fabric of Kato Paphos' concerns the regeneration of an area in Kato Paphos and includes the complete reconstruction and remodelling of the road network, the creation of sidewalks, pedestrian walkways and squares, the installation of modern urban equipment and the enhancement of green spaces.
The aim of the project is the aesthetic, qualitative and functional upgrade of the area of Kato Paphos and to ensure the smooth and safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
The project contributes to the improvement of the quality of life in the area, through the improvement of traffic conditions and accessibility, while at the same time highlighting important historical and cultural points of the area, which will attract a new number of visitors and tourists to the area, which will have a positive impact on the local economy.
The project is implemented under the Cohesion Policy Program "THALIA 2021-2027" with EU co-funding.
