A weak high pressure area is temporarily affecting Cyprus, while a weak low pressure is expected to begin to affect from Monday. The weather will remain mainly clear in the coming days, with locally increased cloudiness at times and light winds. A slight increase in temperature is expected at the beginning of the new week, while the presence of light dust in the atmosphere is not ruled out. Today, the weather will be mainly clear, however, locally increased cloudiness will be observed at times. The winds will initially blow variable weak, 3 Beaufort, to gradually become mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will rise to around 28 degrees inland, on the south and east coasts, around 26 on the west and north coasts and around 19 degrees in the higher mountains. Tonight, the weather will remain mainly clear with locally increased clouds. The winds will gradually become gentle, weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to around 14 degrees inland, around 17 on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains. On Saturday, the weather will be mainly clear, however, locally increased clouds will be observed at intervals. On Sunday, temporarily increased clouds will be observed, which may give isolated light rain. On Monday, increased high cloudiness will be observed at intervals, while clouds that are expected to develop at noon and after, may give isolated rains in the mountains. There may be light dust suspended in the atmosphere. The temperature is not expected to change significantly until Sunday, remaining close to the average climatic values of the season. A slight increase in temperature is expected on Monday.
