The Electricity Authority informs the public that the electricity supply will be interrupted on Monday, 20 October 2025 in some areas of the Paphos district due to maintenance work on the medium voltage overhead network in the area. According to an EAC announcement, the interruption will be between the hours of 08:00am – 11:00am in Polemi and between the hours of 08:00am – 02:00pm in the communities of Agios Dimitrianos, Psathi, Fyti, Kritou Marottou, Asprogia, Anadiou, Kannaviou, Melamiou, Drynia, Milia, Drymou, Lhasa, Simou. Since it is not certain that the interruption in the electricity supply will last for the entire period mentioned above, consumers should consider that their installations are under voltage, i.e. that they have electricity for the entire period of time mentioned in the announcement. The Authority regrets any inconvenience caused, but this interruption is necessary to carry out maintenance work on the medium-voltage overhead network in the area, the announcement concludes.
