The charity race "Every Step Counts", an initiative of Destination Fitness in collaboration with the Nicholas Zoe Foundation, which aimed to support research on childhood cancer, was completed with success and intense emotion.
The seven runners of Destination Fitness covered a distance of 160 kilometers from Paphos to Nicosia, carrying with them a message of strength, hope and giving. Every step on this route was dedicated to the children struggling with sarcoma and their families who do not stop hoping.
The Nicholas Zoe Foundation, inspired by the memory of Nicholas Artemiou, works tirelessly to fund research programs at Boston Children's Hospital, focused on new, less invasive, and more effective treatments.
The Destination Fitness initiative is part of the Move More philosophy and the gym's mission to move people not only physically, but also emotionally, uniting them through actions that make a difference.

At the finish, many people were waiting excitedly to welcome the runners, along with Nikolas' mother and President of the Nicholas Zoe Foundation, Alexia Potamitou, who, addressing the runners, said that they led their feet with their souls.
You proved that Nikolis' mission not to hurt another child like him is sacred. You surpassed yourself and are an inspiration to all of us, stressed Ms. Potamitou.
The response from the audience, gym members and supporters has been touching. The donations collected will contribute substantially to the continuation of the foundation's work, reminding us all that movement can become a life force.
