According to an announcement by the Municipal District of Chrysochous, the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous was delighted to welcome today, Wednesday, the students and teachers of the Giolos Primary School, on the first official educational visit to the Reptile and Amphibian Park in the municipal district of Neo Chorio, after its opening. The children, the announcement adds, had the opportunity, in addition to the tour of the park, to learn interesting information about reptiles through interactive activities, such as playing an educational game on an interactive screen, but also to express their creativity with painting inspired by the species of reptiles they met up close.
Their enthusiasm was great, the announcement continues, adding that it fills them with joy to see the new Park become a place of learning, exploration and love for nature. The Municipality of Polis Chrysochous thanks the management and teaching staff of Giolos Primary School for choosing and including the Park in its educational activities and invites all schools in the wider region and province to plan their own visits to the Park, thus contributing to the dissemination of environmental education.
