About 1 hectare of wild vegetation consisting of shrubs, olive and carob trees burned forest fire that broke out on Saturday night in the area of Tala, in Paphos.
According to the Police and the Department of Forests, the fire broke out at 19:30 at the location "Rachokampos" in Tala.
9 people from the Department of Forests with 3 fire trucks, 3 people from the Fire Service with 1 fire truck and 2 people from the Game and Fauna Service with 1 fire truck participated in the extinguishing operation.
The fire was brought under control at 20:55, after burning about 1 hectare of wild vegetation consisting of bushes, olive trees and carob trees.
