A serious incident took place on Saturday night at a school event in Nicosia.
According to the Police, during an event at a school in Aglantzia, a minor was attacked by another student. He then called his father, who went to the school to ask for an explanation.
However, he was also attacked by two minors, but also by the father of the student who was involved in the first fight.
Father and son visited the Hospital for examinations. The minor has a bruise on the nose, while the father has abrasions, bruises and a fractured finger.
The Hospital will also be visited by the rest of those involved. The Police are waiting for their statements.
Update - The student who was hit at a school event in Aglantzia was allegedly attacked unprovoked.
According to information from Filenews, the student was hit by a gang of extracurricular Syrians who are known to the authorities.
This was followed by the attack on the student's father who rushed to the school to pick up his child.
The minor was taken to the hospital and has a fractured nose and head.

Members of the Police stopped yesterday afternoon for a check on Agiou Andreou Street in Limassol, a car driven by a 21-year-old, after he had previously allegedly committed traffic violations.
A search of the car followed, where a machete-type knife, 47 cm long, was found, which was taken as evidence.
Upon further inspection, it was found that, against the 21-year-old, an arrest warrant was pending, to facilitate investigations in relation to an investigated case of conspiracy to commit a felony and assault causing grievous bodily harm, committed on June 4, 2025 in Limassol.
For the same case, a 31-year-old man is still wanted.
The 21-year-old arrested was taken into custody while the Limassol TAE continues the examinations.

The authorities made a new arrest regarding the murder of Stavros Demosthenous.
Specifically, as part of the investigation of the murder case with a 49-year-old victim in Limassol, the Police arrested a 51-year-old man today, to facilitate investigations.
