The Deputy Mayor of Paphos made interventions and demarches before the President of the Republic on two serious issues of a social nature, which also affect specific categories of our fellow citizens.
Angelos Onisiforou specifically raised before Nikos Christodoulides the issue of creating a permanent accommodation and support structure for children with autism, in an effort to provide these children with continuous and appropriate assistance whenever there is a need.
The Deputy Mayor of Paphos also brought back the issue of the permanence of lifeguards, for which he had recently taken the initiative, on the occasion of the life-saving intervention of a lifeguard in Kato Paphos when an elderly fellow human being was in danger. Mr. Onisiforou handed over to President Christodoulidis a relevant letter from the lifeguards themselves on the issue of the permanent employment of the 90 employees in this sector.
