THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE STARRING PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES

A theatrical performance is organized by the Margarita Liasidou Foundation starring People with Intellectual Disabilities. The event is under the auspices of the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare
According to a relevant announcement, the Margarita Liasidou Foundation announces the theatrical performance that will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 19:00, in the area of Kato Vrysi Geroskipou. The event is under the auspices of the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, while the hospitality sponsor is the Municipality of Ieropipia.
The show stars adults with intellectual disabilities from the Amateur Theatre Group of the Margarita Liasidou Foundation, who with their talent and creativity send a strong message of inclusion and social equality. They will be joined by members of the Foundation's staff, amateur actors from the Geroskipou Theater Workshop 2001, as well as volunteer dancers from the Paphos Training Centers under the teaching of Dr. Konstantia Hadjieftychiou.
As mentioned, this theatrical initiative aims to highlight the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities and their active integration into the cultural events of our society, highlighting the value of cooperation, acceptance and creative participation.
Everyone's presence, he continued, will be a special honor and a valuable encouragement for all participants, reinforcing the vision of an inclusive society.
