The road safety campaign promoted for the fourth consecutive year by the tourism and social bodies of the Paphos district entitled: "Let's share the roads safely", has now entered its second phase. After the holiday season, the campaign resumed in September and will run until December 2025.
The main goal of the campaign is to send messages to both cyclists and motorists that the two road users can coexist, with respect for both so that cycling can be carried out safely. The campaign is designed in Greek and English and is mainly promoted to the public of the Paphos district.
The bodies that implement it actively promote cycling tourism, which is why this effort is inextricably linked to the friendliness that the province should have to cyclists as a cycling destination, but also to the general strategy for the use of the bicycle as an alternative form of environmentally friendly transportation, a relevant announcement states.
