SEA & CULTURE CENTRE IN LATCHI HAS OPENED ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC

 

The Multi-purpose Sea and Culture Center in Latsi has officially opened its doors to the public.

This is an innovative Museum with high-standard technologies and museum applications, which caters to all age groups.

The Multipurpose showcases the rich maritime activity and engagement with sea trade, the port’s role in antiquity with copper and later black gold exports, fishing and, most recently, tourism as well as the unique biodiversity of the area.

The High-tech Museum of Maritime and Culture of the Polis-Latsio presents the narrative of our region with stories and experiences, brought to life through innovative digital applications and projections.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy interactive maps and historical flashbacks, movies on Video walls and interactive videos, virtual reality, naval and marine archaeology exhibits, trivia games and augmented reality.

- Summer period (April - October):

Monday: Closed

Tuesday - Friday: 9:30am - 5:00pm

Saturday - Sunday: 09:30 - 14:00

- Winter Period (November - March):

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Saturday: 09:00 - 16:00

Sunday: Closed
