On Tuesday, 23/9/2025, and Wednesday, 24/9/2025, from 22:00 in the evening until 05:30 of the next day, works will be carried out to close the support with concrete safety parapets, in the acceleration lane at the Parekklisia interchange, in the direction of Limassol, according to an announcement by the Department of Public Works.
During the duration of the works, the expressway lane of the motorway will be closed for a length of approximately 300 meters in the direction to Limassol and traffic will be carried out through the slow traffic lane.
According to the Department, the entrance from the coastal road to the highway to Limassol at the Parekklisia interchange will be closed and the traffic traffic to Limassol will be through the coastal road and the Agios Tychonas interchange.
Furthermore, the Department of Public Works, according to the PIO, announced that from Monday, 22/9/2025, until Friday, 3/10/2025, except weekends and holidays, from 08:30 to 15:00, on sections of the Paphos-Limassol highway (A6) in both directions, on a road length of 1.5-2 km/per day, irrigation works will be periodically carried out on the central dividing island for a total length of approximately 17.5 kilometers, by the Department of Forests.
The Department adds that during the execution of the works, the express lane will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the slow lane.
