An intention for a satisfactory tourist flow is recorded towards Paphos and this year's winter season, according to the competent bodies of the province based on the traffic observed in the major tour operators of Europe.
According to tourism agencies in the province, the tourist flow from the United Kingdom and a significant number of central European countries to Paphos is expected to continue at levels that will keep the hotel and wider tourism industry at least in elementary operation during the winter season and until the first notable tourist flow begins in March-April. Countries such as Poland, Hungary, Austria, but also to a lesser extent southern countries such as France and Italy, are increasingly acquiring a key role in the tourist landscape of the province and, in fact, unlike most other destinations, with a year-round steady flow of visitors and not only in the summers.
Ryanair's flight schedule is the reason for this surge in the arrival of visitors from the central region of the old continent, since the giant of low-cost airlines connects Paphos with dozens of airports in these countries all year round. A factor that, as pointed out by the tourism agencies of Paphos, has made these countries an important factor for the year-round tourist flow to Paphos.
