The heat wave affecting the country continues. Until 9:00 a.m. today, a yellow warning for extreme temperatures will be in force, while from 11:00 to 17:00 an orange warning will come into force. According to the forecast, the temperature is expected to reach around 43 degrees Celsius in the interior and around 34 degrees in the mountains.
In detail, the weather
Seasonal low pressure and warm gas mass affect the area.
Today the weather will be mainly clear and warm. The winds will blow from the southwest to the northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the west to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 43 degrees inland, around 36 degrees on the east, south and north coasts and around 34 degrees on the west coast as well as in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will remain mainly clear. The winds will blow mainly northwest and locally to northeast, weak, 3 Beaufort and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be up to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 26 degrees in the interior and the coasts and around 24 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be mainly clear and particularly warm. The temperature on Wednesday is expected to rise slightly, remaining at the same levels on Thursday, to continue to fluctuate significantly above the average seasonal values.
On Friday, August 15th, the weather will remain mainly clear. The temperature is expected to drop, especially in the interior and in the mountains, to be a little above the average climatic values.
