A very important project for consumers and producers of vegetable and agricultural products in general that the city of Paphos did not have will soon be implemented.
The Municipality of Paphos proceeds with the announcement of tenders for the creation of an open-air Farmer's Market. The local authority's plan is to operate the open-air fruit and vegetable market in the Western Part of the Municipal Parking Lot of Pervola (on Fellachoglou Street), with a total area of about 500 sq.m. It is something that was missing from the city and something that was requested not only by local consumers but also by the hundreds of thousands of tourists who visit the province and want to see, and source, local products.
Consumers will buy the products directly from the producers at better prices, almost directly from the field, to the benefit of everyone, except the middlemen.
