ORANGE WARNING - 44 degrees - WIND LIKELY

The temperature will rise to 44 degrees today, according to the Meteorological Service. 

Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and later locally on the windward coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort.

It is recalled that at 11:00 an orange warning will come into effect which will last until 5:00 in the afternoon of the same day. 

Weather forecast: 

Seasonal low pressure and warm air masses affect the area.

Today, the weather will be mainly clear and warm. Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and later locally on the windward coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will rise to 44 degrees inland, 32 on the west coast, around 35 on the rest of the coast and 34 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear. Later and during the dawn hours, local low cloudiness and sparse fog or mist are expected to form, mainly in the southeast. Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak and occasionally locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain a little rough in the west, while on the rest of the coast it will gradually become calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 27 degrees inland, around 25 on the coast and 23 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mainly clear and warm.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly until Sunday, remaining significantly above average climatic values.
