Two Psychological Support Centres started operating today, Wednesday, in the fire-stricken mountainous Limassol, with the aim of providing immediate support to residents affected by the recent devastating fire.

The services are offered at the Primary School of Sounion and the Community Council of Agios Therapontas, with officers of the Mental Health Services Directorate of the OCYPY being at the scene daily, from 09:00 to 16:00, even on weekends.

Psychological support has already been provided to a number of residents, both in person and by phone. Information notes have been posted in the communities stating that "Mental Health Services are by your side with specialized Support Centers", offering free, direct support to adults, the elderly and families, without the need for an appointment.
