GREEN SHIELD - ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION PROGRAMME IN FIRE-AFFECTED AREAS OF CYPRUS
The volunteer team Πράσινη Ασπίδα (Green Shield) LAUNCHES AN ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION PROGRAM in fire-affected areas of Cyprus
• Saplings will be available through community leaders and the organization.
• Tree species: carob, pines, cypresses, grapevines, figs, almonds, and more.
• Dates and locations for distribution will be announced later.
2. Mass tree planting starting January 2026 Together with residents, volunteers, and local organizations, trees will be planted at the sites of the tragedy. The goal is not only to restore greenery but to bring back life and hope.
