FLIGHTS FROM ISRAEL TO PAPHOS RESUMED AFTER THE 12 DAY WAR

Filenews 4 July 2025 - by Dora Christodoulou

Flights from Israel to Paphos partially resumed yesterday, after the 12-day war with Iran.

Creating feelings of satisfaction and relief among the local authorities, the first flights from Tel Aviv began to land again in Paphos, even if the density of the routes and the numbers of visitors are not corresponding to the tourist flow of previous years.

These flights are operated either by airlines of Cypriot interests, or by smaller Israeli airlines, while it is noteworthy that a key player in this flight program, Ryanair, is not yet involved in the rerouting of flights.

Absent from these flights is Israel's largest airline, EL AL, which had effectively withdrawn from these flights long before the 12-day war.
