The Paphos Fire Department was mobilized shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening after a call about a fire in the Akoursos area.
A fire truck is already at the scene to extinguish a fire at a site with inert materials.
A fire broke out in the exact same spot three weeks ago, resulting in the Fire Department's intervention once again.
The fire situation does not inspire any cause for concern and thanks to the timely intervention of the members of the Fire Department, it was extinguished before it even spread.
Members of the Pegeia Police are also at the scene and will examine the circumstances under which the fire was caused.
