The Foundation for Research and Innovation (RIF) has announced two new calls, Seed and Innovate, aimed at existing and start-ups, with the aim of rapidly developing competitive products and services and strengthening their international presence. The total budget of the calls amounts to €6.2 million.
INNOVATE Programme:
It is addressed to companies that are already active in the market and the financing focuses on the development and optimization of products or services, the start of commercial production, their promotion and distribution in the international market.
- Total call budget: €3.200.000
- Maximum funding per project: €1,000,000
- Closing date for proposals: 9 September 2025

SEED PROGRAM:
It aims to support the rapid development of dynamic and innovative start-ups, which seek to develop internationally competitive products or services.
- Total call budget: €3,000,000
- Maximum funding per project: €500,000
- Deadline for submission of proposals: 12 September 2025

The calls are co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Cohesion Policy Programme "THALIA 2021-2027".
