THE THREE DOGS THAT BIT A WOMAN AND TWO CHILDREN TO GO TO ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANISATION

An agreement was signed for the surrender of the dogs that bit and attacked a 25-year-old woman and two children. Now the local authority has no responsibility, according to its announcement, of the animal welfare organization, which after 8 hours of discussions will have the three dogs under its umbrella.

"In the next few days we will go to see them, interact with them and prepare them for their transfer to safe places!", according to the organization.

It is recalled that, after the attack and the injury of a 25-year-old woman and two children, the dogs were transferred to an animal hotel in a village in the Limassol district. While according to a report by Filenews, the three dogs were to be euthanized. The three dogs belong to a cross of the banned breeds Pit Bull with Dogo Argentino.

The case

Three people, including two children, were injured last Sunday morning after a dog attack in the industrial area of Moni, according to a police statement.

The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m., when three dogs attacked and bit a 25-year-old woman and two children aged 6 and 3.

The 25-year-old and the three-year-old were injured in various parts of their bodies and were transported by ambulance to the Limassol General Hospital.

The three-year-old was discharged with instructions, while the 25-year-old was admitted to the operating room for suturing her wounds. Her health condition was judged by the attending physicians as out of danger.

Further examinations found that the attack was carried out by three dogs who live in a house in the area. The dogs' guardians, aged 43 and 36, were arrested on court warrants and detained to facilitate investigations.
