Tribute concert to the composer Thanos Mikroutsikos for charity by the Paphos Music School
ThePaphos Music School, in collaboration with Yannis Kotsiras, presents two major concerts dedicated to Thanos Mikroutsikos, on July 2 and 3, 2025 at the Ancient Conservatory of Kato Paphos. Over 120 students and teachers participate, with a symphony and folk orchestra and choir. The concert is supported by the Petrideion Foundation, which always stands as a supporter of the cultural events of the place.

For 14 consecutive years, the Paphos Music School has been actively contributing to the cultural events of our city, honoring leading Greek creators (Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Tsitsanis, Loizos, Savvopoulos, etc.). The concerts also have a charitable nature, as the net proceeds are allocated to support needy students.
The summer concerts of the Paphos Music School, which honor great Greek Composers and Poets by presenting their work, have now become an institution in the cultural events of our city.
Chronologically, they have presented the following concerts within the framework of the institution:
· 2011 tribute to Marios Tokas.
· 2012 tribute to Nikos Gatsos.
· 2013 tribute to Cypriot-Greek Traditional Music
· 2014 tribute to Manos Loizos, Performed by Gerasimos Andreatos.
· 2015 two concerts in tribute to Mikis Theodorakis, Performed by Dimitris Bassis / Vasilis Lekkas.
· 2016 tribute to Manos Hadjidakis, Performed by Yannis Charoulis.
· 2017 two concerts on the theme "Hostel-Refugee", Performed by Melina Kana/Kostas Makedonas.
· 2018 tribute to Vasilis Tsitsanis, Performer Giorgos Dalaras.
· 2019 tribute to Dionysis Savvopoulos, Performer and composer.
· 2022 three concerts in tribute to Mikis Theodorakis, Performed by Margarita Zorbala.
· 2023 tribute to Manos Loizos, Performed by Pantelis Thalassinos.
· 2024 tribute to Yannis Markopoulos, performed by Yannis Charoulis.
The concert is attended by students and teachers of the Paphos Music School, approximately 70 people in the choir and 45 people in the orchestra.
Technical support (Sound, Lighting, Choir Podiums, etc.) for their latest concerts is being provided by the company Schoinis and Papadopoulos, with many years of experience and professionalism in concert productions.
