Christos Chalikiopoulos' exhibition entitled "Figures" consists of works made exclusively with seawood. These are woods that somehow by chance found themselves in the sea, travelled for years, were sculpted from water and sand and finally washed up on a beach by the fury of the weather. From this point begins their encounter with the artist and their new life (and form). Christos Chalikiopoulos is inspired by the original shape of each wood which directs him to the theme, the composition and the final result.
