A maximum speed limit of 30 km per hour has been decided by the Police in Limassol.
Specifically, in an announcement it is stated that the Municipality of Limassol, with the consent of the Chief of Police of Cyprus and in accordance with the Limassol Municipal Regulations 2006 which refer to the regulation of traffic police, has decided to approve the following traffic regulatory measures:
The application of a maximum speed limit of 30 km per hour on roads that exist west of Anexartisias Street, i.e. Anexartisias, Vragadinou, Megalou Alexandrou, Thrakis, Kanari, Athanasiou Sakellariou, Andreas Themistocleous, Georgiou Gennadiou, Athens, Themis, Yiangos Potamiti, Iphigenias, Nikolaou Xioutas, Ptolemaion, Renou Pougiouka, Filippou Makedonos, Arch. Kyprianou, Saripolou, Kition Kyprianou, Agiou Andreos, Ellados, Sparta, Leonidou, Thermopyla, Irenis, Marathonos, Darvinou, Simos Menandrou, Eleftherias, Ellinon, Efkaf Serdar, Cleopatra, Shakespeare, Makedonias, Enosseos, Kostas Harakis, Nikolaos Mantzarou, Nikos Georgiou, Yiannis Perdiou, Aphroditis, Ferzi Pasha, Bayazit and Yildiz (between Eleftherias and Metzit streets).
Violators of this notification are subject to the penalties provided for in the Municipal Law and the Limassol Municipal Regulations 2006.
