The Minister of Defence, Mr. Vassilis Palmas, will address the ceremony of receiving the new helicopters of the National Guard tomorrow morning at Paphos Air Base. The Hellenic Armed Forces has entered into an agreement for the H145M helicopters.
A specific number of these helicopters have been received since the agreement signed in the summer of 2022. This agreement provided for the acquisition of a total of 12 helicopters (6 +6) by the end of 2025. It is noted that the 11 Russian attack helicopters owned by the Hellenic Armed Forces have been sold to Serbia.
