Drousia or Drousia..... it fully justifies the name of the village from the cool breeze that comes from the Akamas Peninsula, from the Greek word "cool".
In the context of social inclusion actions of students participating in the European co-financed program DRA.S.E.+, the innovative implementation of "Alternative Education" programs is included. It is an educational practice, which is provided outside the school unit, with the aim of enhancing experiential learning through different and diverse experiences in the real world.
Students of DRA.S.E.+ schools have the opportunity to visit and get to know communities of Cyprus, cultural sites, the natural environment, as well as the traditions of Cyprus. At the same time, they can get involved in sports and artistic activities and many other creative activities offered.
As part of the program, 50 students of the Apostolos Pavlos High School visited the community of Drousia, participating in various activities.
