Due to snowfall in the Troodos area, the roads Karvouna – Troodos, Prodromos – Troodos and Platres – Troodos are open only for vehicles with all four wheel drives, or equipped with anti-skid chains.
Drivers are urged to be extra careful, drive at low speeds and keep a safe distance from the vehicles in front.
Also, those who intend to go to mountainous and semi-mountainous areas, in order to avoid their own inconvenience, before starting their journey, are invited to be informed by the police announcements about the situation on the road network.
