The company Charalambos Pilakoutas proceeded with new recalls of airbags of the driver's seat, as stated in an announcement by the Department of Road Transport. The announcement concerns 441 vehicles.
According to the announcement, the Road Transport Department informs that, according to information received by Char. Pilakoutas Ltd, the BMW manufacturer has proceeded with a new recall of BMW vehicles for the replacement of a driver's airbag.
It is noted that the owners of these vehicles who have registered their mobile phone in the information system of the Department of Road Transport have already received a relevant SMS message.
The Department of Road Transport calls on owners to take seriously the recommendation not to use announced by the Ministry in December 2024 and in case this is not possible, to take measures to further reduce the risk, such as moving where they can with other vehicles.
In view of the above, the owners of these vehicles are requested to contact the distributor of the manufacturer, which in Cyprus is the company Char. Pilakoutas Ltd, for further instructions.
