PAFOS TOURISM BOARD PROMOTES TOURISM IN POLAND
The Pafos Regional Board of Tourism is implementing its annual action plan for 2025 and will participate in workshops and presentations in Poland from April 7th to April 11th, 2025. These events will take place in three cities: Krakow, Poznan, and Warsaw. The goal is to inform commercial partners and travel agents about the Pafos region while promoting it as a premier year-round destination.
In recent years, the Polish market has become a top priority for tourism in Pafos, with a significant increase in visitor arrivals primarily due to Ryanair flights to Pafos. In 2025, Polish arrivals in Cyprus reached over 335,000, marking a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2023, which saw 274,000 arrivals.
The Pafos region continues to gain a significant share of these visitors, with approximately 49% of Polish tourists arriving in Cyprus choosing to stay in Paphos. Currently, Ryanair operates around 14 incoming flights per week from seven Polish airports.
The efforts to implement a digital campaign, participate in exhibitions and workshops, along with hosting travel agents and journalists, are part of a broader initiative involving Pafos organizations, local entrepreneurs, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Hermes Airports, and others. These joint efforts aim to further develop tourism and attract visitors year-round.
