The Police advise the public to be particularly careful, in relation to online fraud, through which perpetrators intend to steal sums of money from citizens.
These are, as noted in a police announcement, cunning people who approach unsuspecting citizens by phone, mentioning their names and falsely presenting that they are accountants.
Police advise the public not to "trust people who communicate with you without warning, asking for personal or financial information, and not to provide information or access to bank accounts."
