Yellow warning for locally severe thunderstorms with hail and heavy rain.
Local storms are expected to affect the island on Sunday (30/03), some of which will be intense during the second half of the day, mainly in the areas shaded yellow on the map above.
A weak low pressure system is affecting the area. From Monday onwards, dust will be suspended in the atmosphere, the concentrations of which may be increased at times.
Today the weather will be mainly cloudy at times and local rains and isolated storms are expected, initially in the west, north and mountainous areas and later in the interior, south and east. Hail is also possible in a storm.

A weak low pressure system is affecting the area. From Monday onwards, dust will be suspended in the atmosphere, the concentrations of which may be increased at times.
Today the weather will be mainly cloudy at times and local rains and isolated storms are expected, initially in the west, north and mountains and later in the interior, south and east. In a storm, hail is also likely to fall. Winds will blow southwest to northwest, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and temporarily in the windward, up to strong 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough. The temperature will rise to around 21 degrees in the interior and the coast and to 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
In the evening the weather will be mainly clear but at times locally increased cloudiness will be observed. The winds will blow mainly southeasterly to southwesterly, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees inland, around 12 on the coast and to 4 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will be partly cloudy at times and isolated rain showers are possible in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains. On Wednesday, a storm is also possible.
The temperature will rise on Monday, while on Tuesday and Wednesday it will drop slightly to hover close to climatic averages.
